SpringFlow Strategies: Building Water Capital for the People

SpringFlow Strategies is a community and policy consultancy that helps water utilities, municipalities, and state agencies meet the community engagement requirements of federal infrastructure funding. We specialize in the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and Clean Water State Revolving Fund, with a focus on lead service line replacement programs in disadvantaged communities. Our work bridges the technical demands of SRF compliance and the civil rights imperative of community voice. We build public participation processes that satisfy regulators, hold up to community scrutiny, and produce better infrastructure decisions.

Public money should reach the public. We make sure it does.

Consultation and training are available for communities, organizations, and utilities. Reach out to us at info@younggiftedgreen.org, and download our case study here from our work in Memphis, TN.

Lead Free Mamas: A Train-the-Trainer Certification for Birthworkers

Lead poisoning is one of the most preventable threats to maternal and infant health, and one of the most overlooked. Lead Free Mamas equips doulas, midwives, and birthworkers with the science, cultural fluency, and practical tools to weave lead-safe guidance into prenatal care.
Across 8 sessions, participants learn lead’s history, its biology across generations, and how to bring this knowledge into birth plans, nutrition counseling, and trusted client conversations. Graduates leave certified to train others, extending the work into their own communities.
Birthworkers have been trained across Michigan, New York, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, and the District of Columbia. Because the womb is everyone’s first environment. Click here to learn more about the curriculum. Interested in hosting a training?  Contact us at info@younggiftedgreen.org.
